Ocean Model Group Las Vegas, looks for inspiration from clients, models and fashion greats to answer this question.  The great Coco Chanel said, “A woman is closest to being naked, when she is well dressed,” which is a very provocative statement about femininity.  This statement probably applies more to our style trends today, than it did in the early 20th century.   I was inspired to write this blog after watching the Lifetime movie special “Coco Chanel” yesterday evening and she was quite a lady.

It seems at first that nothing could be closer to the truth.  If I think about women in Hollywood who are deemed beautiful, like Catherine Zeta Jones, Gwenyth Paltrow or Angelina Jolie, all are known for their classic almost minimalist style.  I can’t even imagine what Catherine would look like with a pair of daisy dukes on.

Yet, Las Vegas Models are competing with a lot of flash and glamour in their surroundings and their clients.  So what does this mean? Is Coco right about a woman being sexiest when she is the most elegantly dressed or can a woman be just as classically sexy wearing a bikini?  I think women like Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba can attest to that.  Perhaps, if teeny weeny string bikinis had been so adorable in Coco’s day she would have been singing a different tune.
