In honor of the season two finale on Sunday, today is Mad Men day - posts featuring a character from AMC’s hit show and what it would be like if they worked at the Ocean Groups will appear on all the company blogs.

Since Betty Draper was a professional model before she married Don, she would be a part of the modeling agency. At first, she would be one of Ocean’s best and most popular promotional models; however, as her career continued, she would likely take on a more active role in the agency - perhaps even becoming the face of Ocean Models if her family and husband didn’t hold her back.

With her Grace Kelly-esque appearance, she would certainly be a successful and memorable model, and her ability to have a conversation with virtually anyone (after all, she is expected to entertain Don’s colleagues, the neighbors, and anyone else like the perfect suburban wife she is, at least on the surface).

Betty’s signature style would also remain similar if she existed today - her elegant wardrobe would keep its classic appeal, although hopefully she would feel a little more freedom to experiment sartorially (bikinis are hardly considered scandalous nowadays). We doubt she would change too much, though, because her look is definitely timeless.
