Model of the week is back and better than ever! This week I have chosen to feature Ashley. This Chicago model is beautiful, outgoing, smart, fun and knows how to work. She has experience in print, runway, and promotional modeling and has a great future ahead of her. I sent Ashley 20 different interview questions and this is what she had to say.

What is your favorite thing about the modeling industry?

The people that you meet, and how much fun it can be!!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully on print ads, or working but happy with whatever. : )

What is the most expensive thing you own?

Besides my car haha… probably clothes

How did you get started in the modeling industry and how long have you been involved?

I have done shoots and shows since last year but really got into it this year! I’m so glad I did because it’s a blast!

What is something we would never know by looking at you?

That I play 16” softball

What is the worst modeling job that you have ever had?

Can’t say that I have had one, I try to make the best out of everything

Softball and I know how to have a good time

Depends on the night… For chillin, Barleycorn… For house.. Crobar, or Spy

What do you spend all of your money on?

My boyfriend, gas, rent… Basically me : )

If you had a million dollars what is the first thing that you would buy?

MICHIGAN AVENUE SHOPPING SPREE (INCLUDING THE BENTLY STORE)

Favorite place to shop?

I love going to Tiffany’s because they treat you like royalty

Where is your dream vacation destination?

Italy

Modeling is a competitive industry, how do you set yourself apart from other models?

I try hard, and give it my all, as do most girls, but I’m open and confident, and really outgoing

Most memorable pick-up line?

Enclave… “Can I get that drink for you?” “Sorry, I just bought one but thanks.” “Okay. Well what attracted me to you were your biceps so when you are done with that one just let me know.” Probably the most funny thing!

Explain your worst date.

After I had a bad car accident, it was time for me to start dating again and the movie I picked was Premonition with Sandra Bullock. I cried the whole time.

Ever hooked up with anyone famous?

Nope, but THERIOT on the Cubs or Derosa you know where to find me. Haha.

Here in the office, we bring Chicago models in daily for interviews. Part of this is due to the fact that I like to meet who Im working with and have them know Im a real person, and part of it is because you never know what you (or, more importantly, your client) is going to get! Read more »

Last weekend Ocean Model Group had the opportunity to staff a huge street team for FirstDibz.com. If you were in Wrigleyville over the weekend I am sure that you noticed a large group of beautiful Chicago models roaming around the stadium. I am proud to say that those were Ocean Models!
