Trade Show season is picking up and that means its a great time to go over what we expect from our Chicago models at Ocean Model Group.

Treat your Chicago modeling agency, and your client with respect. By respect, we mean doing your job and honoring your commitments. Period.

If you’ve agreed to do it. Do it. And don’t complain.

When you get a call from your booking agent asking you about the job you agreed to work, and now you are unavailable due to a recent conflict. Just tell them. Going AWOL does no good for anyone.

Smile and say thank you. It’s appreciated more than you know.

Remember that other people are affected by the decisions you make, so act wisely.

Put your makeup on and dry your hair. Other people will remember how you looked, and if its not so great–you risk losing out on future jobs.

Don’t lie. You think the clients and Chicago modeling agency don’t know–We do. And that goes for height, weight and where you were last night.

You probably got into modeling because you’re attractive, but remember that it takes more than beauty to create a successful reputation and profitable career.

Be nice. To other Chicago models, to industry professionals, and to your clients. You would be surprised to know how many people your reputation can reach.

Only work in this field if you love working with people. If you don’t, we can guarantee you’ll fail.
