As the temperatures begin to drop here in Chicago, and we feel that infamous wind start whipping, it’s finally time to break out your best beauty secrets for winter’s cold weather. This Chicago modeling agency wants its models to protect their skin and hair from the chapping and static that winter can bring. Here are the best products to do it with.

For hands and body, we recommend Lush products. They are phenomenally moisturizing and organic. Some are even vegan! Be good to your body and the enviroment with Lush’s green products. Sympathy for the Skin is good for all year usage, but for the extremely dry weather of the US’s coldest city, we recommend Dream Cream.

For hands, cuticles and nails, which can dry out despite being clad in mittens and gloves, we suggest Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream. It strengthens nails and moisturizes hands without being filmy or greasy… Perfect! Whether your shaking someone’s hand or getting a mid-winter manicure, you’ll be proud to show off your hands.

For your face especially, protecting against sun and wind burn is of utmost importance. No one likes to walk around with a face so dry that it’s peeling or flaking, but especially for our tradeshow models, it could be disastrous for a casting or interview! We prevent that from happening with Clinique’s SuperDefense. Like the name implies, it protects your skin and prevents dryness, but is made for a variety of skin types.

Hair is another issue entirely. While it can dry out just like your skin, it can also stand on end, get hat-head, break, get damaged, frizz out and generally just cause problems. Your summer hair routine can’t and won’t serve you in December. We say, stick with a classic to fix this. Pantene Pro-V helps you find a solution for you bad hair days during the season with its Moisture Renewal collection.

What are your favorite cold weather fixes? Our agency and models want to know!
